Private charters for pleasure cruises, whale and dolphin watching and sea bird watching.

Highland Sea Charters are based in Cromarty Harbour, near Inverness we offer anglers the unique opportunity to fish in the inner Moray Firth or much further afield on an ex working boat that has been painstakingly renovated to retain its original character and lines.

We can offer more extreme trips such as cod, ling and porbeagle shark fishing around the Shetland Isles, cod fishing out of Scrabster and Wick in the North Sea.

These locations will be worked from , for 10 days at the beginning of each mouth over the summer 08.

With over 15 years experience on the sea from lobster to deep sea fishing, our Skipper Ben Wilcock can guide you on a day/night trip out of Cromarty to species such as: cod, skate, mackerel, pollack, conga eel and ling.

Our boat the Honestas can take a maximum of 12 anglers on invigorating yet comfortable fishing trips with the capability to offer day, overnight and longer stays with berths, shower, toilets and galley. The boat is all so available for day/night fishing out of Cromarty, again check the site to see the boats schedule.

Moray Firth Boat Charter

Pleasure Cruises, Dolphin & Whale watching, Fishing Trips

The "Sue J" operates out of Banff Marina at the eastern end of the Moray Firth. Almost uniquely we do not offer scheduled trips but cater for small private parties from 1 to 5 people with charters from one hour to a whole day. Each charter is tailored to what you would like to see and do. From bird watching at Troup head, dolphin and whale watching, fishing (tackle available if required) or just enjoy a relaxing cruise along the beautiful Moray coastline. The "Sue J" has a toilet, GPS/Radar, heated cabin with seating inside and out and carries a full range of safety equipment. She is fully licensed and insured.

MV Freedom departs from Wick Harbour, a small town in the far North of Scotland in the county of Caithness, well known for its fishing heritage and was once one of the biggest fishing towns in Scotland.

The boat benefits from 2xVHF marine radio's, Radar, 2x GPS unit's, 2x sounders and other equipment needed for diving fishing or just a day trip out round the Coast. It has a roomy, heated front cabin with comfortable seating for all, a clean toilet and the aft deck has room for everyone to kit up , or to fish in comfort.
