Guided Salmon and Trout fly Fishing Trips in Scotland3 day and 6 day guided fishing holidays and vacations
|
Day One- Group sizes can vary but are usually between two and six fishermen. Around 8am your guide will meet you at a pre-arranged pick-up point. (Edinburgh Hotel, Rail Station or the Airport.) Your guide will then drive you to the first fishing venue. This would normally be on the rivers Tay, Spey or the Tweed depending on the water levels and which river is fishing the best at that time. ![]() |
While spinning is very popular and sometimes necessary, our speciality is fly fishing so let us teach you a few different casting styles including the famous Spey casting and roll casting. Remember your guide is an expert and has a wealth of local knowledge so please feel free to use him to his full extent for tuition, hints or guidance. Our guides will be only too happy to assist in any way they can. |

Day Two... After a good hearty breakfast, we set off for your second days fishing. You should be familiar with the part of the river we are fishing now and the experienced fisherman can look forward to a full day fishing. |
The River Spey runs through the Cairngorms Mountains and is used by the world famous Speyside Distilleries. The pools here are rich and varied and the scenery is spectacular. Try Fishing the fast boulder fly pools for salmon or cast a line over the slow moving streams for a wild brown trout. |
Day Three... The last day and your last chance to catch the one that keeps getting away. You will normally be on the same river as the day before and to give you as much time as possible on the river, we will put your cases in the car in the morning, ready for your mid-afternoon departure.
