We can offer you 1, 3 day or 6 day professional fly fishing courses with starter lessons for the complete beginner or for the more experienced we can diagnose and correct bad casting habits. Spey casting tuition is one of our specialities.

We can offer professional instruction in South West Scotland on the rivers Annan and the Tweed or a fully inclusive package including transportation and accomodation on the rivers Tay and the Spey in Perthshire and Grampian. Our fly fishing courses on the Tay and Spey depart from Edinburgh and we can arrange to pick you up from Edinburgh Airport, Edinburgh Railway Station or from your hotel.

Our professional instructor for the fly fishing courses on the River Annan and River Tweed is based in Annan Nr Dumfries in south west Scotland. Transfers from Edinburgh or Glasgow airport can be arranged at an additional charge and we can provide you with a list of accommodation providers prior to booking. Annan is approx 90 minutes drive south of Edinburgh and Glasgow and about 20 minutes drive from the Scottish Border. From South London we can be reached in just over 4 ½ hours drive.

We offer 1 day fly fishing tuition or 3 and 6 day fly fishing courses fully inclusive of transportation, accommodation and tackle. Our Fishing trips depart from Edinburgh and we can arrange to pick you up from any location in or near Edinburgh. We can even meet your flight in from the airport and have you back in time to catch your return flight or to continue with the rest of your holiday in Scotland.

Our fly fishing lessons can cater for the complete beginner to advanced casting lessons for the more experienced fisherman and include single handed rod fishing for trout and double handed rod fishing for salmon including Spey casting and Roll casting.

Your tuition will be tailored to meet your specific level of experience and at your own pace, whether you are a novice with no experience or you are just looking to improve your existing casting skills.

We have a very friendly approach to our tuition. Fishing is meant to be an enjoyable experience.

Our one day fly fishing course is designed to give you a basic introduction on fly fishing and how to cast with a fly rod correctly or for the experienced fisherman, diagnose casting faults, correct bad casting habits and advanced casting techniques. Our 3 day and 6 day courses will cover everything in a lot more depth and give you plenty of time to perfect your casting. Your fly fishing lessons will be at your pace and you will find our guides all have immeasurable patience and a great sense of humour. Fully inclusive 3 & 6 day fishing holidays for salmon and trout are also available from Edinburgh.

The Annan & The Tweed Nr Dumfries

Keith Snow, our professional intructor has taught several hundreds of people the art of Spey Casting. Learn to cast a single Spey and double Spey cast with an instructor who will give you the highest level of expert tuition. fly fishing lessons for brown trout and grayling are also available using single handed rods.

We cater for complete beginners and experienced individuals as well as groups. Our fly fishing lessons are available by the hour, half day, full day or as 3 & 6 day prescribed courses. We offer the opportunity to learn how to cast a fly and fish on the finest rivers in South West Scotland and the Scottish Borders.

We can also offer one day guided fishing trips or 3 & 6 day fishing holidays for salmon, Sea Trout, Brown Trout and Grayling. The River Annan and the River Tweed have prolific fly and insect life throughout the year, this coupled with the large shoals of minnows offers the fly fisherman some of the most spectacular and exciting fly fishing you could find on any river in Scotland. On our courses we will provide all of the tackle you will require including quality rods, reels, lines, flies and waders.
